Remembrance
Day is celebrated throughout Britain in commemoration of the million or more
British soldiers, sailors and airmen who lost their lives during the two World
Wars.
There is
the similar holiday in Russia, which is called Victory Day.
I would like to compare these two holidays.
The aim is
to study Remembrance Day in Britain and Victory Day in Russia in order to
create Remembrance Book which will prove that people are united in the effort
to remember and honor war heroes. ( Semova Nastya)
